So you're thinking about going into Children, Youth and Family Ministry? That's fantastic! In college, you have the opportunity to jump into some significant leadership roles and to gain important experience that will really help you when you enter into ministry. We encourage you to spend time with people who are doing this ministry day-to-day...talk to them...shadow them...ask questions...spend time in prayer...ask God for direction. There are lots of options available to you as to how you might serve. To be a part of God's mission with young people is a great thing...and it's incredibly rewarding and challenging. There are several different paths that you can take to enter into ministry as a children's or youth minister. |
