“…it is helping people tell their sacred stories everyday.” Liz Budd Ellmann
Spiritual direction is a sacred space set aside for individuals or groups to connect with deep questions, longings, and life experiences that invite meaningful soul searching and connection. All ages, races, genders, religious or non-religious people are welcome to sit in this sacred space, to be safe, to be known, and to let their soul speak.
Spiritual Directors are trained to listen, help you notice God, and point you to spiritual practices that help you notice God's possibilities for your life. During a 1:1 session, in person or via Zoom, Deacon Marsha Roscoe, spiritual director and founder of Breathing in Christ, offers holy listening, without judgment, to explore what is happening and to notice where God is in the story of your life.
In an effort to provide the safest and healthiest experience possible when registering for Spiritual Direction with Deacon Marsha Roscoe, you may opt to meet with her in a private suite or in a public setting, where we will encourage the wearing of a mask to comply with our event protocols. However, if you would prefer to share your time with Marsha without wearing a mask, you can opt to join her digitally, even if you are attending the event in-person. Once you have scheduled your appointment, she will contact you to secure those details.
Deacon Marsha Roscoe has spent most of her working life helping others fall in love with Jesus over and over again. An ordained minister of the Evangelical Lutheran in America (ELCA), she has taught and ministered in areas of spiritual formation and missional outreach for nearly two decades. She and her husband, Jason, and their daughter Gina, live in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
