Well, to be totally honest, they are not. 

Here's the deal:  We belive that the strength of the network lies within and between its members.  Thus, at the annual gathering of the network, the Extravaganza, we provide workshop time and space for members of the network to connect with others who are interested in the same topic and share what they have learned.  Those who lead the workshops donate their time and resources as a way to give back to the network.  That said, we don’t expect you to fly to Kansas City with a full sized screen for your power point!  We provide basics like screens, markers, pens, newsprint, and scissors.  If you do not have a projector, we can connect you with someone who does (and if you have one to bring, please consider letting others use it!).  We can also direct you to the nearest printing place so that you can make copies of your handouts onsite.
